The Canandaigua National Bank commissioned artisit Rick Muto to paint a 31' panoramic mural depicting the history of the local area utilizing the unique cylindrical architecture of the new branch building. Tha bank sought out the expertise of Technical Resolutions to figure out how to support the mural,get it to its intended location 10' up, and oh, by the way, "we want it to slowly rotate". No problem. |
The resolution to this challenge was to divide the mural up into six sections which created frames that could be fit through the doors. A simple drive mechanism, off the shelf hardware, and common materials resulted in a simple but elegant low cost solution. |
